This chapter includes a list of different special and standard beads or also called microspheres made of different materials for many applications. You will find beads from 0,05 to 1000µ. Particles up to 10µ are very monodisperse and have low standard deviation.
Most microparticles are supplied in deionized water and have a long shelf life of several years when stored at 4°C. Biodegradable microparticles, made on basis of e.g. starch, have a shorter shelf life and should be used faster.
All particles are offered in convenient laboratory quantities, nevertheless, most of them can be offered in bulk quantities or higher concentrations. Please ask for quotation, if you have bigger demands.
